Herb Liberman’s business and education career involved the following:

Education: Sixteen (16) years, starting as a teacher, school administrator, and finally as a Superintendent of Schools.

Business Experience: Worked at executive-level positions in
manufacturing, the computer industry, printing, and office furniture.
Total number of years: 26 years. As the President of a printing
company, I sold the business to a holding company. -
Currently a Business Consultant: My expertise involves working with start-ups, small businesses, and businesses on a growth trajectory. Areas of expertise include finance, business loans, sales and marketing, human resources, and business acquisition and divestiture. Taught numerous business courses through various business organizations and at the graduate level for students working on their MBAs. The business consulting spanned over 20 years and continues to be ongoing with SCORE and the Small Business Development Center.

Other On-Going Work Experience: Owner of a Spanish immersion school in Costa Rica, and an arbitrator for the financial regulatory industry (FINRA) and the San Diego Bar Association.

Non-Profit Experience: Started numerous non-profits and served on the Board of Directors of many non-profit organizations. Current Board membership includes Operation Hope, North County, and Voz Que Clama, serving the needs of indigenous people in Costa Rica.

Other Volunteer Work: Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) and member of the ARC San Diego Advisory Board.
